Brassdorf is the capitol of the Basalt Kingdom inhabited by primarily Dwarven with a larger population of Human as well totalling to around 3 million. The city throws on trade between the Avalon region as well as larger fisheries along the coast of the Silver Sea. In addition, the fertile grounds to the south allow farms to thrive.
Politics & Culture
Ruling
The city of mostly governed by the worker party under the lead of Duskan Axebringer, a noble in the house of rule. However, the royal family resides in the grande palace more than symbolic. While most laws are voted un through the Chambers, the queen has definite veto rights at all times.
The rule of the royalty is protected by a special group called the Golden Garde, whose sole purpose is to secure the royal affairs and all that is in regards to the safety and security of the kingdom. They are, however, only mostly seen in and around the Ironheight Palace.
Religion
In and around the city faith is important and placed in Gorn, the dwarven god of the Craft. It is prohibited to practice religion of any other deity in public spaces and is strongly discouraged in private as well (though not enforced).
Population
The majority of the population is Dwarven, followed by Human. Various other races live in and around the city, most of them workers from abroad or travelers heading for the guilds for work (or simply sightseeing).
