Description

Brassdorf is the capitol of the Basalt Kingdom inhabited by primarily Dwarven with a larger population of Human as well totalling to around 3 million. The city throws on trade between the Avalon region as well as larger fisheries along the coast of the Silver Sea. In addition, the fertile grounds to the south allow farms to thrive.

Politics & Culture

Ruling

The city of mostly governed by the worker party under the lead of Duskan Axebringer, a noble in the house of rule. However, the royal family resides in the grande palace more than symbolic. While most laws are voted un through the Chambers, the queen has definite veto rights at all times.

Religion

In and around the city faith is important and placed in Gorn, the dwarven god of the Craft. It is prohibited to practice religion of any other deity in public spaces and is strongly discouraged in private as well (though not enforced).

Population

The majority of the population is Dwarven, followed by Human. Various other races live in and around the city, most of them workers from abroad or travelers heading for the guilds for work (or simply sightseeing).

An open guild to everyone seeking fame and fortune. Welcoming all, they use a ranking system to determine the type of missions each may go measured by an honor system. The guild is best known for their open-to-all welcoming stance on travelers far and wide, as well as housing notable figures some of whom have stone busts situation in their common chamber.

Thezmare Shatterbane

Thezmare was crowned queen in 402 PT marrying the late Ulduar Shatterbane. She assumed the role of sole ruler after her husband died from food poisoning in 405 PT.
