Distinguished researcher and former mentor of Aragir Norde. Alduin was a pioneer in the fields of theoretical physics at the Scarlet Academy and has worked on the theory of the Realms until its discovery was formally announced in 357 PT.

Disappearance

Sometime in early 400 PT, Alduin mysteriously disappears. Leaving behind his entire research, life, family and a single note to his prodigy stating, "It matters not what we do here, the world is out there waiting to be revealed. Farewell, may you one day find your way through the unknown." Speculation to where he went continues though there has not been any hint.

There has been extensive effort to locate him ranging from formal inquiries to world governments, search parties and even magical means (e.g scrying). All to no avail, his whereabouts remain yet unknown. It is assumed Alduin has either perished in some way or exiled himself into anonymity. As a result of such a sudden high profile departure with considerable knowledge, the Acadamy has altered their security measures to include pinging of their more important members from time to time.
