A secretive faction, operating directly under the orders of the leaders of the Basalt Dominion, who have great interest in the continued existence of the realm and the security of its inhabitants. In addition, they take assignments directly from leaders across the Eastern Kingdoms, mainly Brassdorf and Abador.

History

The organization was found by Herris Windheart, the father of Abador's noble Lenora Windheart, after an assassination attempt failed for the second time. For the protection of the family and the continued existence of the Dominion, it was created to provide safety to an unaware citizen. In Herris' eyes, it was the ultimate and only way to operate an organization aiming for security - in secrecy. Merceneries and old war guards were hired and, in the past, worn masks to protect their identity. The organization would move away from this practice but otherwise function similarly to this day.

Special tasks may reach outside the Dominion's reach in order to stabilise factions or simply espionage.

Hierarchy

The faction is lead by a board of directors, working together wit hthe nobles and royals from various larger cities and settlements. The board takes in consideration the tasks at hand which are, in turn, delegated to each seperate section of the organization that may deal in the specific issue the task may try to solve.

Members of the organization are bound by a non-disclosement duty, and secrecy. This keeps the general population from interfering with operations undertaken by members of the organization, protecting their identities.
