Arriving in Abador, the party first decides to look for the researcher regarding the book. They head for the library, The Grand Bookshelf. Asking around in the Marketway, they received directions to reach this. As they approach, the party decides to split in two groups. One group heads out to the Citywatch to speak with captain Jade Aewynn while the other group goes on some shopping.

Captain Jade Aewynn and another captain, Mergom Mountbreak were discussing something as the group comes inside the chamber. Quickly, the parcel from Eri Boulderbane was handed over. The group was briefed over the circumstances of the object, learning of the Fold - a task force working directly for the Dominion - who was tipped over a potential attack on Abador, some weeks ago. A week ago, some northern regions near the city have increased activity from wild goblin tribes, near the fields and Daggerborne Ruins. A small group was sent to check it out but were too scared to proceed.

The Fold believes a criminal organization could be involved, probably the Getaways, though they are most active in the west coast of the Eastern Kingdoms... the captains ask the party to check it out, for a reward, and gives the object inside the parcel back to the group. It seems to be some sort of key, though the glowing symbols remain a mystery. But nonetheless, the party will receive 200 gold for carrying out this task. As the group is informed, they head back out and regroup...

The party heads out into the library to meet with Eldgran Wiscard, someone that can help translate the book found back in Whispertale. The old man was found and he takes a look over at it. He recognizes the language as a dead one called Icosahedran. Eldgran needs more time with the book for a proper translation. The party hands him the book and they decide to come to Brassdorf later to pick it up again, Eldgran will wait there.

Having done that, the party heads back out and makes ready for a trip to te ruins. Time to see what's happening there.
