An ancient champion of a forgotten deity who is now connected to Weylin as an appointed Disciple, along with three others he referred to as his "brothers". His appearance was that of an elf with long dark hair and sharp green eyes, he appeared dressed in heavy silver armor wielding a runic greatsword which is broken in half. Alenriel appears to speak in an old form of Elvish known as Sylvan.

History

Alenriel came from a great city situated on a large, single continent - which does not exist anymore in present day. He is shown to pray to a deity by the name of Savras, who kept a watchful eye over his people and his city until no more. Alenriel appears to be the only one who would survive the impact of an asteroid that annihilates most of his people and divides the continent, leaving behind the World Eater crater. While unknown at this time, it is after this event that he begins to seek counsel from a dark deity that would grant him additional strength to carry on.

Weylin approached him sometime after this and persuaded Alenriel to join his cause - both men seemingly done wrong by that world changing catastrophic event. It is currently unknown how far into the past Weylin had to travel in order to meet with Alenriel, though it was far enough where present-day continents did not exist in their current form at yet.

Personality & Abilities

Alenriel operated on the notion that his goals would ultimately overrule any hardships to get there. He believed strongly that Weylin is capable of helping him undo the terrible incident which wiped out his home city, isolating him from his kin. He considered any attempt to change his shared goals with Weylin a sin and must be contained or eliminated. A clairvoyant ability was granted to him and his brothers, allegedly by Weylin, to be able to see divergent ways that would not end in a favorable situation. It is in this manner that they were capable of foreseeing certain events and recognise discrepancies (such as the unexpected party composition of the Four Feathers).

In combat, Alenriel is shown to have great magical powers that appear to be a borrowed strength from an entity beyond the realms. When struck, this power fuels Alenriel further and even persists after death for a short while. Alenriel is able to realm shift his opponents if needed and capable of manipulating his enemy's desires to trigger an intense fighting spirit. In addition, Alenriel can charm his opponents in order to seed panic amongst them, ultimately have his enemies fight amongst eachother.

Death

After being delivered the fatal strike by Kaimos, his physical body was unable to continue. In an unseen instance involving Cerrule as supported by Delbellis, by the power of Enoreth, Alenriel willingly moved on from the current timeframe and send back to his own to atone for his mistakes. While Alenriel is considered dead in the current time, it is unknown whether his actual identity still exists in another.
