After some brief introductions, he grabbed the cloaked man again - who admitted that his name was [[Wardens#Gamal|Gamal]] and that he was a member of the Wardens - and decided to take him back to [[Abador]] for further interrogation. The group followed soon after. | |||
As they arrived at the city, however, something was amiss... The area was filled with black and green smoke, and the large towers of the main buildings were destroyed! The party soon noticed that part of the [[Daggerborne Ruins]] was smashed right onto the city. They hurried to speak with [[Jade Aewynn]] and offer their help, leaving Gamal with the city watch to be imprisoned for the time being. The interrogation would have to wait...</p></div> | |||

Alarge monster began to appear, with several floating candles orbiting around it. The party understood these candles were integral in the creature's power. Destroying them weakened the monster, and ultimately defeated it. As they finished up, sounds of footsteps intensified on the floor above them. People seemed to be running and moving things and falling down, until suddenly... the entire section of the tower above the party disappeared! As if a sharp blade had cut through the structure cleanly!
